EDIT: the company graciously reached out and offered some helpful tips, and after some collab/troubleshooting it seems like the diaphragm on one of the cups was just not fitting correctly. I replaced it with one I had and the main problem of the milk leaking has been fixed. An oversight on the QC which they took full responsibility for. They offered me a whole new unit too. It was a really nice interaction and I was pleasantly surprised they reached out at all but they did so quickly and with so many remedy suggestions. This is the kind of support mamas should receive from companies who sell these kinds of products. I was pleased with the unit itself and now this company has really shown integrity and customer service did their part to make any concerns/issues right. I bought another model today for that reason alone.I rotated between this and a few other pumps (one other from this company, and two plug in Medelas) as I typically only nurse 1-5 times a day but I find myself reaching for this one most.Pros are it’s fairly quiet, multiple modes and levels to choose from to really customize your pump, I have another pump from this company (the rainbow orange square looking model) which I pulled off the tubing adapters for and use it with this as it is basically compatible. That being said, I appreciate that I have two motor options to use otherwise I’d be charging this thing twice a day (I pump about every 4-6hours for about 20mins). Cleaning is fairly easy there are multiple parts but assembly is pretty straight forward.Cons, IT SPILLS SO MUCH MILK! I was absolutely livid for several days trying everything to pour the milk into a bottle and keep it off the counter and on the brink of tears my husband logically suggested a funnel which is functional and saves all the milk but it should definitely not leak the way it does. 🤦🏻‍♀️ as mentioned the charge could be longer on the unit and I do the refrigerator method (i.e., I use the pump for the day refrigerating between uses and sanitizing it at my last pump of the night) with that, the diaphragm and the closure at the top where you pour the milk gets oily from the milk and refuses to stay closed/on the pump so I do have to rinse the diaphragm with hot water, dry it and reassemble from time to time which is kind of annoying.Overall, a good pump for the price, but definitely some design flaws that could make it better and I’d imagine with a pricier unit wouldn’t be an issue. Can’t speak to longevity yet as I’ve only used it about a month, but it is handy to have especially for a mostly exclusive pumper since I can use it in the car, doing chores, and taking care of my newborn and 5 year old with limited fuss.

Painful
It really hurt. Might partially be the wrong flange size, the smallest was 21 and I learned I needed a 19. But I really didn’t like how strong it was, I could mostly only change the pull and make the pull more steady, rather than rapid at the lower levels. The suction is strong but can’t be altered. The first time I tried I suffered through and used it for 15-20 minutes and got 3 oz instead of the 2 I regularly got with the medela insurance pump (I’m less than one week past partum – a surrogate, so pumping without feeding). So the strength is good for producing more milk, but not worth the pain to me. I might have been less sensitive to it if I was feeding also, but the second time I tried it after going back to the medela for a few times I gave up immediately. It seems like the face the flange goes into is really shallow, so it seemed like it wasn’t pulling on the whole areola/boob, just the nipple which is part of why I feel like it hurt so much. The face is also hard (I’ve ordered a replacement and the whole face is silicone, soft and seems deeper. It’s lower levels are gentle and not painful – so it’s not just a standard, like I was concerned at first).Massage mode is essentially just let down mode.Cleaning – its hard to get the back apart. Not a big deal, but I didn’t like that either.

I wish I could do 4.5I honestly think this is an awesome product and was very very impressed by the pump.I was looking for cups that worked with my spectra pump… they do. I honestly hate the cups!!! I am a 36b They are huge and bulky and a pain to clean. But the pump will work with my spectra flanges and that’s what I do. I can pump in bed and on the go soo much more easily. It’s helped to increase my supply. The pump has 4 modes and lots of suction. It charges quickly and is simple to use.It losses a bit because the face is a mirror and if you try to use it in the car you feel blinded 👀☀️🕶️OVER ALL GET IT!
