The babyletto x Avocado Mattress is a certified organic, non-toxic crib mattress that is GREENGUARD Gold Certified and meets MADE SAFE® standards. Featuring a dual-sided design, it offers two firmness levels to support infants and toddlers.
GREENGUARD GOLD CERTIFIED: Tested by UL Environment to meet some of the world’s most rigorous emissions standards for chemical exposure and pollutants.
2-STAGE: This is a 2-stage dual-sided mattress that has a firm supportive side for infants that can be flipped to a softer side for toddlers. The toddler side features our signature terracotta color piping.
NONTOXIC MATERIALS: A soft, organic cotton mattress cover and wool batting is gentle on baby’s sensitive skin while firm and breathable coconut husk fibers and individually wrapped coil springs provide ample support.
ORGANIC: Rest assured that the mattress is certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard, and the latex used meets the Global Organic Latex Standard. Organic latex is used as a bonding material for the coconut fiber support.

Great quality
We love this mattress! We have two (one for each of the two cribs). It is durable, made well and feels very sturdy. It is also supposed to be free of harsh chemicals. It is relatively hard, but has a feel of a well-made hard mattress in adults’ equivalent. Definitely recommend.

Peace of mind
This mattress is comfortable and safe for my little one. It’s firm but not hard. No toxic foam which is a huge relief because I want to reduce her exposure to chemical off gassing. It appears to be well made. It’s expensive but worth it to me because my baby spends so much time sleeping and I want her sleep environment to be as natural as possible.The mattress smells a bit like lanolin/wool so anyone super sensitive to odors might want to take that into consideration. I put it in the sun outside for a day to air out when I got it, and now I haven’t noticed any smell in the room the crib is in.It’s worth noting that this mattress is 5 inches thick, which is too thick for many mini cribs. For example, Dream on Me brand states 2in thick maximum for their mini cribs. I got the Babyetto gelato mini crib which says mattresses up to 5in thick may be used.

Mattress is 36 inches. I’ve been trying to contact customer service to figure out if it’s just a faulty product and met with no luck.

Does not fit in Babyletto Origami Mini Crib
Purchased to go with the Babyletto Origami Mini crib and there is a huge gap. A foot could certainly fit through. This mattress is wonderful and I love everything about it being organic and all the other bells and whistles. However all the safe sleep guidelines say no gap. I want to keep it because I don’t know what else to buy that has the same specs, but I will likely return it due to poor fit in a Babyletto crib.
