This battery works exactly as described – everything fits perfectly, no issues at all. I didn’t notice any difference between this one and the original Dyson battery. The plastic feels the same, the quality is identical, even the shine is the same – the only difference is the sticker. It definitely lasts longer than my older original battery, so now I can clean my whole house on a single charge. Before, I often had to swap in a second battery mid-clean, so this is a huge improvement. The real surprise came in the package. I purchased to replace battery in V10 Cyclone. Instructions minimal but adequate. After charging 5+ hrs, vacuum still had no power. Discovered filter was not screwed in quite tightly enough – very hard to see this tho. Screwdriver, 3 new screws, and cleaning tool included. Cost < half Dyson battery. Before I discovered loose filter, I’d planned to return, so mind the filter installation!

It is Fabulous – it WORKS – Even better than I expected!
This battery is absolutely fabulous for my Dyson Animal. I think the run time is longer with this one than the original! I hadn’t used my original downstairs in in a couple of months (I have the large corded Anaimal) and I missed the ease for quick fresh ups. I was dreading buying a battery from Dyson believing the price would be prohibitive and thinking I should consider buying a new one – and then saw this one and figured I would try it – Do NOT Hesitate! Problem solved – don’t need to invest in a new one now! (I also outfitted it with a green LCD here on Amazon to see the dirt, this feature is present on the newer models. It is amazing wood floors – it is shocking see the dirt and be aware of what you might miss – clean mart so to speak! Very satisfying 😉 )

My Dyson runs now
My original Dyson V11 battery was barely holding a charge anymore. This replacement has higher capacity and my vacuum runs noticeably longer on a single charge. Installation took about 10 seconds with no tools needed. Just press the release button and swap it out. Fits perfectly and the vacuum recognizes it immediately. Build quality seems solid and it came with extra filters which was a nice bonus. If you have the click in style V11 this is a much cheaper option than buying from Dyson directly. Been using it for a few weeks with no issues.

Better than a Dyson branded battery. I can’t say how happy I am with this battery – I was ready to throw out my Dyson (that had been given to me a few years ago by a friend). When it was given to me it needed a battery – so I called Dyson and bought one. For years I used this new Dyson battery (that rarely lasted 5 mins), but then it started dying. I was going to buy a new $800 Dyson unit, but thought it was overpriced and trying another new battery might be worth a shot.So when I charged this new battery I was amazed that the power of my old Dyson increased dramatically as did the run time. I cleaned my whole house, upstairs and down, and then it finally needed another charge. I’m almost thinking I should buy another one as I swear the run time increased 10 fold.This supplier has an awesome product.

Was so happy to find this replacement. I thought that my ancient Dyson had finally bit the dust (no pun intended) and there it was, it just needed some more chomping power. So simple a fix and so simple to install. I did go online to double check video that I was installing properly but it was a quick process from start to finish. Like new!

Battery seems okay so far but one of the additional parts they sent (pre-filter) does not fit a DC72 as the pre-filter is integrated into the handle assembly. We’ll see how long this battery lasts.
