How Bio Clean works:
In nature, all animal plant matter is broken down and recycled into plant food by enzymes and bacteria. Bio-Clean uses this same principle to remove organic waste that accumulates in your plumbing and septic system. Like all living things, bacteria must “eat” to survive. Fortunately, the grease, hair, soap film and organic waste found in your drains and septic tanks are food for the bacteria in Bio-Clean. The enzymes prepare this “food” or the bacteria by breaking down the large molecules into a size the bacteria can “swallow.”
When mixed with warm water, Bio-Clean immediately goes to work! The enzymes are very fast and start breaking down waste on contact. Bio-Clean contains billions of bacteria and as they eat they double in number every 30 minutes! Unrestricted by gravity, they spread through the entire plumbing system, devouring all the organic waste.
Bio-Clean is a special combination of natural bacteria and enzymes formulated specifically to digest dead organic waste found in your plumbing system.
Bio-Clean will remove the grease, hair, soap scum, food particles, paper, and cotton that are plugging your drain lines.
Bio-Clean will not digest or have any effect on inorganic materials such as a plastic pipe. Bio-Clean will not produce heat, fumes, or boiling as dangerous chemicals do.

Bio Clean Family of products:
Bio Clean is Effective
Immediately after pouring Bio-Clean into the drain, the bacteria begin to eat their way into the waste that has accumulated on the bottom, top, and sides of the drain pipe. This is their natural food. They digest the waste and spread throughout your system, cleaning it completely.
Up to 100 drain treatments per 2 lb. container (perfect for kitchens, baths, showers, drains in your home or business) 1 box of packets or two 2 lb. containers treats 1,000 gallon septic tankEliminates the need to cable drainsEliminates the need to buy dangerous chemicalsCleans plumbing thoroughly instead of just burning a small hole through the wasteReduces waste in septic tanks and drain fields requiring less frequent pump outs (saving you money)

Most septic systems in operation today are not functioning well. Chemicals, bleaches, detergents, food preservatives, soaps, and bowl cleaners inhibit or kill bacterial action within your system. This lets solids accumulate in the tank, some of which flow out and clog the drain field.

Drain cleaner works great!
This product is fantastic. It saved me hundreds of dollars in plumber fees. My kitchen sink would hardly drain. I used this the first night (5 in a row recommended for first time use). In the morning the sink was worse! I just turned the water and the disposal on and let it go and it cleared everything out. The sink is working perfectly no and no backed up water at all. It was rather expensive so I was a little skeptical but it was also nontoxic and ok to use in the kitchen. It only contains enzymes and works great!

Saving money
This was recommended by my plumber to keep drains clean and clog free. I use once a month in all drains to break up grease, hair, dirt and keep the plumber calls to a minimum. Very effective, no odor and easy to use.

Good for pipes
Works well when you have plastic pipes under your sink and you worry about caustic chemicals ruining. The only downside is it takes time. This is not an instant drain unclogger. Its better for slow running drains. Over a week, you pour a mixture down your drain every day, at a time it won’t be used. I poured it in my bathroom sink when I went to bed for the night. After a week, the sink ran much better and has maintained. When using more natural methods, you need patience. We also use it sometimes in the kitchen sink (disposer side) to keep drain grease to a minimum. Bio Clean was recommended by my plumber as maintenance for the kitchen sink he unclogged. So not a good product if you need a quick answer, but better overall for you and your pipes.

Works great, with persistence
Fantastic product, it definitely works. You just have to be a bit persistent and you will eventually get results. I don’t have a working garbage disposal in the kitchen and I cook a lot and obviously wash a lot of dishes. In the past I have had to call a plumber to come and flush the goop from my kitchen and laundry room pipes. This product took over a week to clear up the buildup and then all of a sudden the water was draining fast with zero set backs. Highly recommend giving this product a go.

Cleared up smells right away
This is my second purchase. My plumber recommended it when I had a “dead rat” smell coming from the drains. This cleared it right up. He told me to treat it monthly and I have done so. The tub lasted a couple years so it’s not wasteful either. Good product

100% Successful On Toilets – Saved $300 On Plumbing
I really hesitated before buying this. It seemed too good to be true, but after realizing it’s not an “As Seen On TV” gimmick, I bought it and am thrilled to report a 100% success. I went from a toilet that got clogged every single time it was flushed to never needing a plunger again!By the time I purchased Bio-Clean, I had to use a plunger EVERY SINGLE TIME my bathroom toilet was used – without fail. And it was taking more and more effort to plunge the drain. The last time I plunged the toilet, it caused sewage to back up out of the bathtub. Not even a 3-foot auger snake worked. I was about to call a professional rooter and pay $350 dollars to have them snake the drain all the way to the street – when I decided to try Bio-Clean.RESULTS WEEK 1: I applied Bio-Clean in the toilet and tub for six days before I tried using the toilet. Unfortunately, it still got clogged. However, I was surprised at how little effort it took to plunge the clog away. I was cautiously optimistic and continued using Bio-Clean for a few more days.RESULTS WEEK 2: The next time the toilet was used (12 days after starting) there was no clog. This was the first time in over a month. And every single time since, there have been no problems with the toilet drain. 1 flush and everything is gone. I used no other product nor did I try anything else during this time. Therefore, I can say with certainty that the only way I went from plunging every time the toilet was used to never having to plunge again was because Bio-Clean actually WORKS.I used a slightly different technique than indicated in the instructions that might have made a difference. The instructions recommend using warm water, because the natural bacteria in the powder (like most bacteria) works better in a warm environment:STEP 1: Pour about a gallon of HOT water down the toilet. It will automatically flush and helps warm the pipes.STEP 2: Follow directions and mix 2 scoops of Bio-Clean with warm water and pour down the toilet.STEP 3: Add another quart of warm water to force more of the bio clean deeper into the drain. I didn’t want the Bio-Clean to just stay at the bottom of the toilet, nor did I want to just flush it all away, so I alternated between adding enough water to cause a small flush and adding less water to prevent a flush.STEP 4: Leave it alone overnight. The instructions say to use it every day for 5 days and then once a month. I had to use it for about 10 days in two weeks but I am still thrilled with the results.$50 is a lot of money, but there are about 150 servings of Bio-Clean in the tub. Imagine how much 150 bottles of Drano would cost. Even after 10 days, I have enough Bio-Clean left over to last years.

Saved me hundreds of $$ in plumber cost
Bio-Clean worked very well in cleaning a partially blocked drain line with reocurring problems. The blockage occurs about 20-30 feet down the pipe going from kitchen sink to septic tank. I’ve needed to use a plumper to water jet this pipe about every 2-3 years.Using Bio-clean, the drain cleared out completely in about a week of daily use. Now, I apply once a week, let stand overnight ,and drain has remains clear. Great product and a real money saver.

Works, but Not the Easiest to Use
The Bio-Clean Drain Septic Cleaner seems to be working, but it’s not very easy to use. Mixing and applying the powder takes more effort than I expected. I think it helps keep the drains clean, but I personally prefer the liquid version — it’s simpler and more convenient.

When our toilets got clogged, I told my wife you just have to leave it for a few days and the bacteria will eat through the sewage and naturally unclog it. She didn’t believe me, but it works every time. That is the premise for this product – it contains 4 different type of bacteria to eat away at material clogging your pipes. We had a kitchen sink that would not drain quickly. We used the standard sodium hydroxide products and it worked for a short time along with using a plunger. Eventually, the drain started to get clogged again. Baking soda and vinegar did not work (by the way, one should try those separately since baking soda is a base and vinegar is an acid – using them together just neutralises the two). We tried two treatments with Green Gobbler and it worked a bit, but the drain was still stuck. Next, I used a double dose of Bio-clearn (two treatments of 1 scoop in 500 mL of warm water) and left it overnight for 12 hours which is longer than the 6-8 hours recommended. We did this for 5 straight days as suggested. This did not clear the drain, but it did improve the problem as the sink did drain slowly. Next, I used two treatments of Green Gobbler again. The drain still got stuck. I used a plunger and this time, the stuck material was finally pushed down the drain. The sink has been draining well for 4 days now.Ideally, if you are going on a vacation, you should treat all your drains with this product and when you return, you’ll find that your drains are cleaner than ever. The manufacturer recommends using this product monthly for prevention. I recall our local plumbing store, Gregg’s, recommended this product years ago for prevention. Natural solutions can work and Bio-clean is definitely one of them – you just need to give it enough time.

This is a great product and it’s so easy to use. Just follow the instructions and you won’t have any problems. I’ve been using it for about months now.

The drain line for our kitchen sink used to clog annually until I started using this on a monthly basis as preventive maintenance. Haven’t had a clog in years! This product seems to contain four enzymes to break down almost everything: amylase (starches), cellulase (plant fiber), lipase (fats, oil, grease), and protease (proteins).
