Great item, but shipping made me laugh
I think I’ve written a review in this product before, but it was just the cup. I misplaced it and ordered another one because I love the thing (doesn’t even feel like I have shark week anymore, cramps are minimal which is a godsend). The reason that I’m reviewing now is because Amazon kept this thing super hush-hush after I bought it. In the email to let me know it shipped, it was listed as a “item hidden for privacy.” So imagine my surprise when it arrived, partially visible in the shipping package. I’m too old care, but it I definitely laughed out loud.

I was using another brand for years but decided to give Diva a try and now I realized that the previous one was too hard and that’s why sometimes it hurts down there,now Diva is very soft in a delicate way and easy to use, doesn’t leak so I don’t have to worry,I do recommend it and I would but 100 times again .

Second period using this product and can confidently say I will NEVER go back to tampons or pads.Pros:-no plastic or paper waste from wrappings like tampons or pads- no additional period trash-reusable-easy to store-no leaking (yet)-no risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome-only have to change it 2 times a day (I do it in the am and pm shower)-just dump the blood, rinse, and reuseCons (not really though)-have to ensure the cup “pops open “ around your cervix so you don’t leak but it’s not a big dealOverall, this tool has made me feel empowered with more intimate knowledge about my period than ever before. I NO longer feel icky or dirty during my period like I did with tampons. Tampons made me feel like I was gushing so much blood and smelled horrible but the cup has shown me that I only bleed 1/2oz!!! Like what?! And I’m no longer dealing with any period smell like before.

I’ve been a diva cup user for many years now, after having children figured it was time for an upgrade..bigger cup size. The shakes cup is a nice feature that is helpful in times of need, but I don’t typically use it because its quite big. Everything works as expected and was better then the previous version I have.If you are new to using a menstrual cup, please note that you do have to be very familiar with your body. There is a learning curve and starting out, its my recommendation you start out removing and inserting while you are in the shower. Once you have the hang of it, you’ll have an easier time when your out and about.I wont go back to conventional methods as this has saved me so much money and is for me the best thing I have ever used that has no weird side effects.

Size matters
First the positives: This really is the most leak proof cup on the market, and once inserted *correctly* with the *correct* size for you anatomy, you won’t feel a thing.Negative 1: I fell for the guide that said you need model 2 if you are over 30 and/or have a heavy flow. Even though I personally feel my anatomy is a little on the small side I went ahead and ordered the 2. It is very large, and it is heavy silicone. So when you do your little U fold for insertion, make darn sure it is all the way in place before you let go. I didn’t and it felt like I got snapped by an industrial size rubber band in my hoohah. I have since read that the model 2 is more recommended for women who have had children. If you think your anatomy is small, size down.Negative 2: Never hold it by the stem. You may think once you remove it you can keep holding the stem like some fancy little champagne glass, but no. Once gravity has control again it will tip and dump its contents all over. My bathroom became the elevator scene from The Shining.Back to positives: This cup can be worn longer than the disposable brands and it is 1000% more leak proof. Once you get over the extreme awkwardness of the size on insertion and breaking the seal to remove, it becomes a pretty convenient device. You can even sleep with it in.

DivaCup is hands down my favorite feminine hygiene product on the market.
I purchased this new diva cup recently to replace the one I had lasted me for eight years. One day I forgot to store it away properly and my cat decided it had to be a toy left out just for him. He ended up chewing a hole in it so it was time to retire that one. If you follow the instructions to ensure it’s seated correctly you shouldn’t have any leakage issues. However, on the heavier days of my cycle I do pair this with a seventh generation panty liner just for that extra bit of protection. After my cycle I run this through the dishwasher in one of those baskets you can place in the top rack to hold smaller items. Then I put it in the storage bag that it came with and put it away until next month.I remember when I was first told about the DivaCup I was very reluctant to give it a try. I am glad I overcame that hesitation because I do not miss tampons and those awful strings. I do not miss how those filled the garbage can and the smell when it came time to change the bag. Quick tip: It is possible to figure out how to avoid the need to flush it out in a public area. For me, I make sure to empty it in the morning before work and then I’m good until I get home. I hope that you’re able to find a pattern that works well for you. I will always recommend a DivaCup over tampons any day!

I found my Goldilocks menstrual cup❤️
After 5 months of using menstrual cups, I decided to give a try to Diva cups. My best decision ever, I bought the first number 1 But I had to change it every 5 hours on my heavy days. So even though I turned 30 recently and do not have a child or I have never been pregnant, wanna buy Diva number 2 it was a game changer In my heavy days I can weary 8 hours or 12. 🥰🥰🥰 the best thing is, I do not feel anything very comfortable. The small one is the Lena cup I just love that mini cup for my last day.tips: Take your time, practice, and be patient once you get the right position it will change your life. A menstrual cup is the best thing ever 🙏pretty grateful change in my life ❤️.
