This milk storage bags are made of a thick, strong plastic. They are presterilized and sealed, so they’re ready to use. The side seams and zipper seal are strong – no leaks!There’s a large space to write the date, volume, and more. Larger than other brands, which is helpful.These hold 6 oz, which is more than enough for 1 pumping session for me.

Heavy Duty, Perfect for Craft Storage Too
I’m reviewing Elvie Breastmilk Storage Bags – 100 Count Pack.I’m a mixed media artist and have lot’s of little items to organize and store. These bags are sturdy with heavy duty zip closures at the top that look like they’ll hold up to opening and closing many times. I like that there is a write on section at the top so that I can label the contents. The seals around the edges and bottom are substantial as I hoped they would be, providing for a durable storage bag. They’re perfect for what I’ll be using them for.These would also be great as intended for breast milk storage.As a side note, these Elvie Breastmilk Storage Bags are made in China.

Appalling customer service
The dimensions of this bag were nowhere to be found. As a hyper-organized urban dweller with limited freezer space, it was important to know the dimensions of the bag so I could plan freezer space accordingly. FOR THE RECORD, it is 3 7/8 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches highAfter scouring Elvie’s website and several Google searches, I turned up nothing. I reached out to their website customer service as well as Instagram messaging. Weeks later I finally received an email saying they were looking into it. Several weeks after that I was given completely inaccurate dimensions. This is some of the worst customer service I have experienced in recent years. I truly hope I have no issues with the very expensive Elvie pumps, because this will be a nightmare. Proceed with caution knowing that you are probably speaking into a black hole when you have any questions or issues with the Elvie brand.

Cracks over time
I’ve waited to write the review to make sure it wasn’t a one off, but after having reached for some of my older bags of milk I’ve discovered tears and cracks that are unnoticeable until you find milk thawed all over the counter. It’s affected half of my stash. Luckily, we’re in the weaning stages and really only nurse to bed at this point, and I had a decent enough oversupply that we’re fine even with this loss. But for moms who are just enoughers this would be devastating.If they correct this issue, these bags would be the best on the market in my opinion. I found the measurements on the bags to be accurate once the bottom was fully expanded and sitting on a flat surface. This was compared to my Philips bottles and to a scale for fl oz. They do stand when empty, and are easy to pour into from my elvie stride.
