Zayuu Estriol CreamEdit: one reviewer said this is not an estriol cream IT IS! ESTRIOL is listed as the 7th ingredient in the list.This cream has no scent whatsoever.I have been using this for 19 days. No real big changes in my skin except i have some pimples on my chin – like i used to get when i was a teenager. The pimples were very slight and went away after i stopped using the cream 3 days ago. The other symptom (i dont know if it is attributable to the cream yet) is that i started spotting a little bit for abot 4 days. I have no guarantee that there is actually 5000 mcg per pump more or less. I do know that my body is very sensitive to hormones- plant based or otherwise. Just use caution and talk to your doctor if you are going to use this. Most hormone creams need a prescription so a doctors advice is warranted with something that can mess so easily with your body. This was my only side effect and it may or may not be from this cream. I only used one pump per night on my face, neck and the backs of my hands. The pump dispenses an amount equal to the size of two peas. I adjusted the way pump it out to give me about one third less than this. I stopped using the cream to a) talk to a doctor and b) to see if this stops the spotting. Right now;, spotting coukd be happening for any reason. Or for no reason at all it happened exactly the same way before, about 10 years ago for no reason that I could surmise. I am still here, healthy and pain-free so I think it was just my body aclimating to the cream. I am still going to talk to a doctor!This was my initial review:So far so good! I have only been using it for 3 days. After further observation and use I will come back with updates!First use July 21st: (this is how I USE THIS – BUT others may not be able to use this the way I do – ALWAYS TRY NEW PRODUCTS by themselves till you know what to expect BEFORE you combine them with other products like I do.)My observations and usage:It comes in a 4 oz+ bottle – a generous supply! Pump tip provides just enough per pump for facial application and then some -which i apply to the backs of my hands. i am close to 70, these hands need help!Bottle comes with a reusable tip plug, which i re-use to keep product as fresh as possible – i also replace the cap and place product back into the box away from sunlight and heat to keep product as fresh as possible.)Product has almost no scent, it is not greasy, does not “pill” on the skin and absorbs nicely after gently rubbing it in to cleansed skin. When I use it with any other product, it combines seamlessly, but I try not to combine at first. Using it as a nightly stand alone cream is the best way to start out.Note that I never wash my face with soap, I use a cotton ball or other applicator to apply plain old witch hazel (w/14%alcohol) to cleanse my face. I have very oily skin especially in the summer time and this helps. In winter I use the kind of witch hazel with no alcohol in the formuls and only a little aloe. My face dries out and gets flakey in winter and this helps to keep that to a minimum. Also note that I have been using witch hazel to cleanse my face since I was 17 years old and I can honestly say that it really helps keep my skin cleansed, clear and beautiful. I have very few wrinkles for my age – even for someone much younger. I attribute this mostly to genetics – my naturally oily skin, AND to my use of witch hazel rather than soap or other products to cleanse my face.Plain soap and water takes away to much of the naturaly protective oils and leaves my face far too dry. Of course I need to wash away heavy dirt and oils once in a while kind of like a ‘start over’ in which case I will use a tiny drop dawn dish detergent with very warm water. I lather that up and cleanse my face with it on a piece of paper towel, followed by a good cold water rinse. After that I use a good moisturizer.My favorite moisturizing cream – they stopped making the original formula – which is Pacifica’s Wake Up Beautiful Sleeping Mask – it is NOT REALLY a mask but simply a gentle ‘before bedtime’ moisture cream. You really do wake up beautiful especially if you had a bit of a flakiness, or a few blemishes the day before. The formula pacifica makes now is with retinol which will do for some people – retinol is a must if you want to keep your wrinkles at bay but i dont want it in that particular product. Why the changed it is will never know! They make something great, then they change or discontinue it, when it worked so beautifully! Why do they do this when they will make money on the originally great product! Anyway, i prefer using retinol in a separate product from my moisturizer, which is why I don’t like the new formula of the Pacifica sleeping mask, but that is for a different review.So, getting back to THIS product – Zayuu’s Estriol review – so far, so good! I did a patch test on the inside of my elbow and I had no reaction.The routine i use with it:Early evening (just after dinner but not bedtime), after removing my makeup with some unscented micellar water (unscented with no extras, just the micellar water) i cleanse my skin with a piece of cotton or a piece of paper towel soaked in witch hazel and scrub till my skin doesn’t feel oily anymore. This is like a light exfoliation. They make cotton pads with a texture to exfoliate, but I like just plain paper towel soaked in witch hazel till it feels cleansed. While my face is still damp from the witch hazel, I use a dry paper towel to wipe away any excess oil and dirt till my face feels oil free and clean. At this point I use a retinol product. It’s still early – not bedtime – this just preps my skin for bedtime application of Zayuu Estriol Face Cream. I use this routine just to speed up my natural skin cell turn-over (exfoliation.) I apply the retinol product (a generic equivalent to cerave’s nightime retinol cream) to my face and rub it in til absorbed. Remember this is after dinnertime, not at bedtime.Then a few hours later – at bedtime – i cleanse my skin with just the witch hazel again. I do the same as I did at dinnertime , but i dont ‘scrub’. I just make sure to remove traces of the retinol cream.While my face is still a bit damp and supple from the witch hazel i apply Zayuu Estriol Cream – only one pump – dotting it on each quadrant of my face. I rub it in till it feels absorbed. I also use it on my neck and throat. There is no oiliness, no scent, and my face feels soft, supple and moisturized – but in no way greasy. After my face is dry and product is absorbed, my face feels soft and supple, it has a glow.I go to sleep after this.In the summer, my face gets oily fast, so if I am up in the wee hours (like 3-4am) I will wipe down my face with a witch hazel soaked piece of paper towel just to refresh myself. This is when I might apply just a dot of Pacifica’s wake up beautiful sleeping mask cream. It helps to keep my face from flaking when I use the retinol.NOTE: if you have not used retinol before or rarely use it, don’t start using this cream at the same time you use retinol cream. Wait a while till you can get your skin used to the retinol. It is a bit harsh at first and makes you very vulnerable to sunburn! Only use one product at a time! My usage is the way it is because I have been using retinolproducts plus products to reduce dark spots for a few years now. My skin is quite accustomed to using multiple products – but just starting out using retinol, skin lighteners, etc. will have reactions unless you take it slow and try only ONE product at a time. During my trial use of this Zayuu product, I cut out any other products except my retinol and my overnight moisturizer, (the Pacifica product.)In the wintertime (when i get up at around 4am to use the bathroom) I will just apply the Pacifica over whatever cream I used at bedtime. Before I started using Zayuu, I only used the nightime retinol, a cream for dark spots and the Pacifica products after my witch hazel (and very occasional dawn soap) cleansing routine.Important:My best advice for everyone is to use ONE product at a time as directed till you know how your skin reacts to each product. Proceed slowly. Remember that less is more! Only combine product usage after a few weeks. If you are trying the Zayuu product, only use that cream so if you have a reaction, you will know what it is from AND because retinol can cause irritation on its own anyway!)In closing and until I further edit, I will say that I like Zayuu’s Estriol Cream. I knew about estrogen creams and wanted to try them. The ones out there are way too costly for me. There are different formulas with different strengths and ingredients. From what I know, this one is gentle yet the ingredients are known to be effective. Using it regularly at the same time every day for a few months is when you should see results.I am picky about what I use on my body. I research everything. I have my reservations about using a “hormone” ingredient. This one in particular is plant based and gentle and gives good results over time which is why i gave it a try. Patience is key. I was happy to find this brand of estriol at such a reasonable price.I will be adding to this review as time goes by – especially after one whole month of use. If something goid or bad comes up before then,I will post all about it ASAP!My final thoughts for now:No ill reaction (I have sensitive skin).No scent whatsoever.Only a very small amount is needed.You can use it anywhere there are wrinkles -your neck, arms, thighs, buttocks,hands, etc (just no mucous membranousareas)No stinging or redness – it is very gentle.Immediately results were soft smoothskin, with a nice glow (a natural glow -not from any dyed or additives, etc!) Iwill report long term results as theycome. Remember, there is a 3 monthsupply in ONE bottle! Long term resultshave yet to be determined. I only juststarted using this!No immediate greasy residue.No greasy residue hours after application.No sting upon application even after alight exfoliation!Large bottle (4oz) at a very good price!Not much needed at all per application.Remember, “LESS IS MORE!”Product absorbs quickly and beautifully.Product does not “pill” on the skin.Product does not leave any residue on mypillow.All botanical ingredients.This product just went out of stock as of jul 24, 2025)- so look up the company website to find it. There are also other similar products that you can research using the listed ingredients (plant based estriol)I really hope that the “out of stock” thing is just temporary because I really do love this stuff!

So Far, So VERY Good!
Despite years of dance training, yoga, isometrics, and sun precautions, I noticed that the inevitable “turkey neck” was creeping up on me. I liked the natural ingredients of this cream, and the fact it had nothing I’m allergic to. After a month, applying sometimes to my hands or upper thighs, but primarily to my neck and upper chest, I am impressed. I don’t know if thin skin can get thicker, but I notice less obvious tendons and fewer wrinkles; I can’t quite believe it! I’ve already placed my second order. And another positive side effect, which can’t be attributed to any other change, is a stabilization in mood…I haven’t been feeling those horrible rollercoaster depths, for no reason but hormones. Great texture, no fragrance, and results!

The Perfect Partner for Retinol
I have used this with my retinol regularly for almost two months and I can definitely tell that it’s working. I saw a TikTok explaining how it works in conjunction with the retinol. Retinol and estradiol work together to enhance collagen production and improve skin elasticity, addressing aging-related changes like dryness and wrinkles. The texture is lovely, very soft and lightweight and the fact that it’s not scented is a huge plus. Definitely a 5-star addition to my shelf.
