Like literal healing ice magic from Elsa herself.
We got these cooling contraptions for my wife because we’ve got our second bun in the oven about to pop out any day now. Someone gave us one of these in our first pregnancy, and these things are like literal healing ice magic from Elsa herself. When I yanked the first one out of the bag, I noticed the shape; it’s got this slightly elongated, kidney-ish curve to it. It’s not just a boring blue brick of misery, which is good. It’s medical-grade, which sounds important, like it should come with a tiny operating room drama soundtrack. The material itself is one of those flexible gel situations that actually conforms to the terrain, instead of just being a rigid block of frozen regret, which means it can wrap around an ankle like a tiny, frigid python, or, in its primary mission, target the specific coordinates of pregnancy-related volcanic activity. It’s a very practical size, like a large, icy fortune cookie that dispenses relief instead of vague predictions. Now, let’s talk about the sleeves. The packs slide into these little fabric pockets like a superhero changing into a mildly itchy costume. I’ve got to be honest, the fabric cover is a bit like that scratchy wool blanket your grandma keeps that you swear is spun from recycled porcupine quills and static electricity. It’s not exactly softer and more luxurious than kobe unicorn topped with mermaid caviar, if you know what I mean. I can see why others have suggested slipping it into a sock, which is brilliant, because who among us hasn’t repurposed a sock for questionable, non-foot-related endeavors? But here is where the frozen relief earns its metaphorical cape: once chilled to a perfect, skin-soothing temperature, the cold penetrates through the slightly rough cover like a gentle winter whisper, not a polar bear punch. It maintains this temperature, too; it’s not one of those things that gives you two minutes of bliss before transforming into a lukewarm, sweaty disappointment, like most of my attempts at DIY home repair. The two-pack is crucial for rotation, because we’re violently allergic to waiting, and having a backup frozen solid and ready for an emergency deployment of chill is a feature I appreciate, even if I have to jam the pack into the sleeve like I’m trying to fit an elephant into a thimble.

Great size, appreciate the cover, work as general ice packs after
I got these in anticipation of having our third baby soon. They are just the right size, and I really appreciate the washable cover. They fit easily in our freezer. I like that it’s a two pack so that I can use one while freezing the other one or washing the cover for the other one. This is a great self-care item worth having on hand. Also, you can use them as general ice packs when it’s not baby time and especially when it’s in the cover no one but you will know the difference and they work great. So, also versatile for after that fourth trimester.

Wish I had these sooner
I had a very bad tear with my son that led to pain and discomfort for quite a while. I wish I had had a product like this back then. I can only imagine how much better this would work than constantly using the numbing spray.Though it’s been a while since I had a child, I now have a teenager. Teenage boys get hurt, a lot. When I saw the shape and size of these packs, I knew they had to instantly go in my freezer. Most of the ice packs I’ve purchased have been very small about 4″x3″ and they just don’t do much for older kids. These are a perfect size. The unique shape not only allows for the original intent, but allows them to wrap around knees, elbows, fingers, necks … you get the point.I did try microwaving one for about 20 secs on high in an 1100 wt microwave and I wouldn’t suggest any longer. It definitely got warm and pliable. Place a warm one around the back of your neck and omg the tension release. I do think they are a bit light on gel filling. Now the reason for 4 stars. I try to choose ice packs with a cover to prevent over exposure and skin damage. The cover on these is a felt let material and very, very itchy. I definitely wouldn’t want that material near anywhere in pain after having a baby. I am surprised with the rest of the quality that they would skimp so much on the fabric.I do recommend these and think they would be a great baby shower gift or addition to a diaper cake and also for anyone who is injury prone.

Works as intended
Works well as an ice pack. Great to have on hand for emergencies. The ice pack sleeves are also a very soft material

Highly recommend for ANY cold pack needs
These are fantastic cold packs and my kids and I use them often! I especially like that it comes in a two pack so there is always one in frozen and ready to go. The little sleeves are genius. They feel soft. They allow the cold to pass through without hurting your skin by letting it get too cold.I have not used these for pregnancy, but it shapes well to the body and is just the right amount of cold. With the covers on, no one will even know that these are intended for pregnant people! This is a great deal for all you get and is something I’ve gotten for my other mom friends!

Great value!
Love these! Great value for the price and it’s a 2pack! They work for both hot and cold and the little covers they come with are a nice sturdy fabric. They’re super easy to clean and use, definitely recommend if you’re trying to decide between the different options out there.
