Below is my original review. After dumping the water out, looking it over, adding new water (all from the tap which if filtered) the thing works like a charm! Nice stream of mist – even a little thicker than my 150ml. Better upward flow. Stays on all night. No idea what changed to “fix” it.I guess if you have the same problem as I do try “turning it off and back on again” as they say. **shrug**. I’m loving mine now.*******older original review******I have a 150 ml that puts out this lovely little stream of mist. It is perfect for my needs; a bit of moisture at night. However, it doesn’t last all night. I like it so much that I went ahead and got the next size up I could find from the company – this product.I get it all set up and find 2 things absolutely wrong with it. First the design flaw. The vent where the mist comes out is on the OPPOSITE side of the on off switch. It’s on the side where the plug sticks out! Who thought that was a good design? I just turned it around, but now the plug hangs off the bedside table funny. Anyway, I can live with that.The problem is that nothing comes out. I fill it to – below “max” line – (I don’t need the full 300 ml), put it together, turn it on and . . . nothing. I can hear it going. I even checked with the lid off and it burbles fine. But NOTHING is coming out. In fact at one point I held my hand in front of the opening and it felt like faint warm air.

GREAT for dry noses!
I got this for my boyfriend who currently lives in a pretty dry and cold state, so his nose gets stuffy or bleeds alot from the lack of moisture in the air.After complaining for ages and doing nothing about it 🙄 I got him this thing and he is OBSESSED. He uses it all day every day.Its not too bright — bout the same level as a little kids nightlight. It’s very easy to operate and easy to clean, it shuts off automatically though so definitely refill it with some water before bed if you want it on while you sleep.There was no weird scent when he took it from the box which is great. You can also easily add scent oils, but you only need a drop or it may be too strong.It’s pretty decently sized, itd be good for small apartments or dorms!

Good product
This item has a big enough water reservoir that it last for hours. My previous item only uses 1/4 of cup and last only over an hour. This one runs for well over 4 to 6 hours. It does take a while for full mist.I use this when I miss my mom. I spray her favorite perfume and the house smells like as if she is still here. Some may think this is creepy, but for those who lost their mother will understand.

Still using it after one year. Why they won’t make humidifiers with the same materials as this unit so essential oils can be used in them is beyond me.
