Loose Herbal Tea with Organic Blend to 7 Herbs, for Lactation Support
This is a very nice loose tea as designed to help lactation mother with a blend of 7 organic herbs. It comes in a zip-locked resealable bag with a silver inner layer to protect the fresh ness. The tea composed of small uniform pieces of flowers, leaves, seeds and stems. There is a fresh herbal fragrance in the bag with a refreshing sensation. It is easy to steepen with boiling water. After a waiting period of a few minutes, the herbs fall down to the bottom leaving a refreshing delicious tea. I can clearly recognize a mixed taste of fennel seeds and chamomile. It has a similar taste for several refills. The herbs in this tea blend are traditionally used to help lactation, for their nutritions and adaptogen. Because these herbs are rich in antioxidants, the tea blend would also have benefits for overall health, bedsides lactation. Pleasant tea, balanced licorice flavor
This is a good well-balanced tea. That said, I used far less tea than the instructions called for. The instructions call for 1-2 T. in 10 oz. of water, and I used 1 t. for about 16 ounces, so much, much less. Fennel can dominate tea, but this weas blended so that the fennel was noticeable, but not overpowering. I found it excellent both plain and with lemon added. Note that, while that the ingredients claim they are organic, I did not see any formal certification on the packaging. At $24.99 for 3 oz, I’d consider it a bit pricy, but that’s a person value judgment.
