Pregnancy must have
Don’t know how to get through pregnancy without these. This is the cheapest option I’ve found for a belly band and in my opinion, the most effective. I’ve tried other more expensive brands and versions, and while I have found others to be slightly more comfortable for long term wear, this style supports my belly the best. It’s easy to get on and off, easy to adjust, and is relatively comfortable. Overall, it’s a great brand for the price.

Loving this support band!
I was 175lbs and a size 14/large before getting pregnant. I have been feeling a bit self conscious about my weight gain after losing 85lbs. I’m now 210lbs and 24 weeks. I love the way it helps shape my belly and give support. I honestly should have bought this sooner. I have a lot of SPD pain and the gentle pressure this applies has alleviated so much of it. The band is comfortable and does not rub my skin if I decide to wear it under clothes instead of on top. It only comes in one size but I don’t think that will be an issue for most people since the band is incredibly long and very stretchy. I have no doubt it’ll be up to task as I go on in my pregnancy.

Some challenges but WORTH IT!!
Purchased this after doctor recommended getting one when I shared I had a lot of round ligament pain. The doctor recommended it at my 20 week appointment and I ordered it thinking I would fade in to using it full time. I have only had it four weeks but the fade in looks a lot like using it any time I am active( which is A LOT). It is so helpful in reducing the amount of ligament pain I have. As a result I wear this about3/5 work days for between 8-11 hours a day. The other two I wear off and on for maybe three hours a day. On weekends I usually wear at least one day for 5-7 hours and try to rest the other day. As I just reached 160 lbs and am 25 weeks pregnant I have had zero issue with it not adjusting to my size but could see where it maybe a struggle for heavier weight people.A few draw backs to this/things to think about: 1. This isn’t the most straight forward thing to use. I have daily issues with figuring out where to lay it on to support the stomach while also not getting in the way of my movement. It doesn’t bend/adjust to the weird movements(or really any bending/reaching movement) I do at the daycare. Instead it slides up and starts putting pressure on stomach and/or sometimes adds pressure to my back. I readjust it and it is fine again but if I wait too long then you have back pain or stomach issues the rest of the day(not fun)! I have found it works best with half on pelvis and upper half holding stomach but then I have to slide it up to use bathroom and readjust again. Some of my friends have recommended that it works better if you lay down and put it on but this is also impossible when it rides up or you have to move it to use the bathroom every hour. 2. I am using this during some of the hottest months out of the year and finding it is NOT breathable especially on the back. Next to just wanting a rest from readjusting the main reason I am taking it off is because my skin needs air. 3. I’m a rather private person that doesn’t like to show weakness so don’t really like showing off that I have a band on and this kind of is able to be hidden under your tops BUT it’s rather itchy with direct skin contact. To combat I put over my tank top(I have always worn even before pregnancy) under my shirt. This adds to the overheating problem.4 The Velcro is extremely strong and does pull on the fabric it is holding onto but you can only feel the damage not see it. Only time will tell if this impacts it’s longevity. If it makes it the rest of my pregnancy though I think it still worth the money as it does help relieve and prevent the round ligament pain and therefore it has gotten a ton of use.Overall, I have a love hate relationship with this BUT would totally buy again as the relief from the pain makes all the hassle worth it in my book and I have totally gotten my money out of it.

Great for SPD and Back Pain
I had severe SPD during my pregnancy. This is the only thing that helped to relive some of the pain. Helped with my back pain as well. The Velcro is super strong, so it’ll build your arm muscles and stay tight. Totally worth buying!

Best belly band for pregnancy!
This pregnancy support belly band is the best support band! When I was pregnant with my twins this helped lift my stomach so my back wouldn’t hurt as bad walking throughout the day. I love how the fabric of the band is because it was breathable wearing it. The size was perfect for wrapping around my stomach. It’s not a heavy band very light and easy to put on.The price of it was so worth how much support it gives during your pregnancy especially towards the end! I definitely recommend to all pregnant woman who needs belly and back support!

Putting it on by yourself.
Just received this yesterday. I will update my review after wearing it for a few days or weeks. How I put it on myself. I don’t have someone to help me get dressed, wrapping and securing it behind me is mission impossible. I trued it and I couldn’t smooth it out. UNCOMFORTABLE. So, I ignored the instruction and wrapped and secured it in front. I then wrangled that thing to the back so that the belly lift was where it belonged. IT WORKED!!!! Nice and smooth baby.

Great for plus size mamas too!!
I have tried on MULTIPLE styles, and worn several of them 10 minutes or so, sometimes longer, trying to figure out what works best for me. (Thank you, Amazon return policies!!) I finally settled on gepoetry. The instructions tell you to put it on and fasten it behind you, but I found that really difficult to get it tight enough doing that. So I prefasten it and pull it up like underwear or a swimsuit, then snug it into place. I found the single piece was much easier and more comfortable, it has a wider band under the belly, which was more comfortable and less, um, pinched? I guess is the way to say it. And I kept finding that these styles that have the strap that goes over the belly top were too big around to get that strap long enough, or the strap was too tight on the one that fit me well around the hips/baby bump. For reference, I’m almost 28 weeks, 5’7″ and 240lb, and I’d tried several XL and XXLs in several styles, and though gepoetry didn’t come sized, it was the best for me! I was able to vacuum without back pain!!
