After substantial research, I finally choose the Nature Bee Breathable mini 2stage crib and toddler mattress. It fits well in a mini size crib and it’s an item I definitely did not want to cheap out on. If you’re looking for a Breathable crib mattress like we were, I would highly recommend this mattress. I think this is one of the best choices a parent can make for a newborn for when they roll over on their bellies and go facedown on the mattress. Breathable sheets are also a great idea as well. The firm side is firm enough but comfortable enough for her. I like that is can convert from an infant mattress to a toddler mattress. Also this mattress is non toxic. It gives off no smell whatsoever.This mattress is indeed a full 5″ thick which is great. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a mini mattress.

Quality is Amazing
This mattress material is very high quality. We love that it has two sides to grow with our daughter. One side is firm for infants and the other side is slightly softer for toddlers. It doesn’t tell you which side is what but after feeling with your hands you can easily determine. It fits perfectly in her crib and is lightweight for bedding changes. We are so happy with it!

I absolutely love these thick breathable mattresses! I purchased two of the mini crib mattresses for my twins and they sleep so good on them! Lightweight and comes with a washable zip cover. They came in a nice clean package with zero chemical smells. I also love that they are Organic and made here in the USA Highly recommend!

We’ve been really happy with the quality of this mattress and the price. It has one firmness on one side for younger babies and is slightly less firm on the other side for older babies. It fit perfectly in our son’s crib.

Worth it
I’m glad I went with this mattress because it has 10X better ingredients than a lot of mattresses for similar prices. The mattress is firm which I like, because my pediatrician said I needed to get a crib mattress with a firm surface. When I opened the mattress there was zero trace of any smell, just clean. Cleaning is very easy and the mattress cover that it comes with easily zips off to put in the washing machine. The mattress is also not heavy, it is lightweight enough for me to easily change the sheets. There are other mattresses I’ve felt at stores that are bulky and heavy, and thankfully this one is just the right weight for me to change. I highly recommend this mattress because it’s great for babies whether they are tummy sleepers or back sleepers. Getting a 100% breathable mattress was a must-have for me when it came to making this decision. 10 out of 10!

I live this mattress for our baby. I opened it up and no weird chemical smell which I was so happy about. Also it fits perfectly in a standard crib, it’s nice and firm too on one side and a little softer on the other for when you transition to a toddler bed. It’s expensive but worth every penny.
