Best period item to wear!
I used to use a cup and this is way better! It’s so comfortable, you can’t even tell you’re wearing one. It’s easy to insert and remove once you get the hang of it and you can “self empty” by squeezing if you don’t want to remove it every time. Also easy to clean, love this!

Get This! Your Bits Will Thank You
I’ve been using Nixit for 5-6 years now, and this is my second disc. I wouldn’t use anything else! It’s comfortable, doesn’t leak, and I can it use any day during my cycle. If you have ever thought about ditching tampons (which you absolutely should) this is your sign.

Eh wish I had more positive thoughts
The product is a good material, good quality, but impossible to use, I have always used light tampons, and I have a very light flow, I watched at least 50 videos of how to insert. What to do, looked at TONS of reviews did my homework, and still cannot get it to sit right. It is just to big, I have a low cervix, but after the reviews I thought for sure I could use this but it’s very large. I could not insert it correctly, couldn’t get it up sit correctly. I had to give up out of pure pain and frustration, I bleed very little so inserting it just hurt, I have ordered a smaller one, so fingers crossed for better success, but overall the product is very good quality and quality is great, just to big for me:(

Best disc I’ve ever used
I’ve been using cups for twelve years and discs for about two. Two of the more well known discs I’ve used are the Lumma and the Flex reusable. The first is absolute trash. Very thick material that stays compressed and folded even after insertion and doesn’t collect any blood. The latter is the one I used for the longest but it auto dumped on me a lot. I have a very heavy flow, and frequently hemorrhage. I have to receive IV iron infusions every couple months, I bleed that much. Obviously no cup or disc will hold hemorrhages, and I have to dump more frequently than the average person on my heavy days, but my Nixit seems to be the right fit for me. The rim is firm enough for very easy insertion (I would compare it to the Flex reusable, maybe SLIGHTLY softer but if it is, it’s not very noticeable), and the basket (the part that holds the blood) is very soft and pliable and has no trouble opening up once inside the vaginal fornix. It is very easy to remove and wash.I feel like a lot of the bad reviews are from people who don’t understand how discs work, or have never used them before. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Product With A Learning Curve
Some background information. I am a woman in my late thirties with very heavy periods. On my heavy days, I have to change my tampon every 2 hours at a minimum. I have had two full-term pregnancies that have contributed to a weakened pelvic floor and a prolapse. All these factors have made me more sensitive to menstrual products. After developing tampon discomfort, I tried several cups, but I could never get the seal correct or when I did, I could feel pressure. I decided to try the disposable Flex disc. This was love at first sight. I could not feel it. I could go a couple of hours without dumping it. However, after a couple cycles, I realized that the Flex was too small for me. Yes, it lasted longer than a tampon, but I could tell when I was about leak. If I sat for too long, I would sometimes do a little auto-dump when I stood up. I also realized that it would slip out of place and I was constantly having to readjust it behind my pelvic bone. I ended up doing a period quiz to find what disc would be my best fit. Nixit was it’s top recommendation for me.The largest observational difference. Nixit has a thicker rim and larger diameter than the Flex. This is where the learning curve comes in. With these two differences, trying to slide the Nixit in can be challenging. The rim is thicker and harder to keep folded. If the rim doesn’t stay folded, the rest of the disc will start opening before you get it fully inserted. This took me a couple of times to maneuver until I got it in correctly. I learned that if I lifted one leg on the tub this allowed me to ease the Nixit in better.HOWEVER, once in place, Nixit is a game changer. I could not feel it. I did not have any cramps. I could go the full day without dumping it. I was even able to auto-dump with minimal adjustment. I forgot I was on my period most of the time!I would overall give the Nixit 4/4.5 out of 5 stars. I think the learning curve will frustrate some users and discourage them from using it. However, with some patience, I think Nixit will leave customers very happy with their purchase.

Not exaggerating – life-changing purchase
I’ve used cups for nearly a decade but have been getting frustrated with pressure and fit. I have been interested in exploring disc options for a few months but was rather intimidated. The instructions and video demonstrations for nixit were what pushed me over the edge to try this product. I was expecting that it would take a few cycles to get the hang of how to use this without leaks, but I was blown away by how comfortable and easy to use this product has been. The instructions were very clear and I had minimal issues with leakage, fit, and placement. I’m thrilled with this purchase and look forward to further cycles.

I’ve used menstrual discs exclusively for years now and consider myself quite familiar and comfortable with them. Unfortunately, I suppose this disc doesn’t work for my anatomy at all. It is the softest disc I’ve ever encountered, and I’ve owned a few different brands in the past (Saalt, Lumma, FemmyCycle, Hello, Flex, etc.). The disc itself is very large and yet extremely soft, and this makes it a gamble whether or not it fits into my body. The end kinda bunches up a bit as it’s being inserted. Sometimes I manage to squeeze it in there, other times it refuses to cooperate. The main merit of this disc is that it’s so soft, I’ve never felt it exert any pressure against my bladder. However, it’s simply much too soft and finicky to insert. I find it rather disappointing considering the price point. My favourites are probably still the Saalt and Lumma discs, which have firmer rims and are my go-to reliable options.

I have endometriosis and very very heavy painful periods. I have irregular periods and seem to almost always be on my period. I use tampons but they leak so quickly and I needed to change them very often. They dry me out, are itchy, make my skin react, are terrible for the environment, full of harmful additives, they’re super expensive, and there’s the very real risk of toxic shock. I tried the diva cup and hated it. I tried both sizes and it was painful, hard to get in and impossible to get out. Somehow leaked all the time and was just not worth it.This is AMAZING!-No pain-Easy to insert-Easy to take out-Easy to empty (hands free)-Easy to learn-Doesn’t cause cramping-Doesn’t fall out with bad cramps-Doesn’t leakAND THE BEST PART ISYOU CAN HAVE BLOOD FREE SEX!-You can’t feel it-He can’t feel it-No leakingIf I didn’t tell him about it he wouldn’t have known. So so so so so cool!

Highly recommend. No leaking, can leave in for 12 hours with no issues.

Best period product ever ! I have two so I can clean it daily during my cycle. I absolutely hated the Diva cup this is SOOO different. No cramping. I never have issues removing it. I can wear it during sex with no leaks, change in sensation, and my partner doesn’t notice it. You can empty it while peeing on the toilet without touching it. I have been using it for 4 years now and never looked back.

As someone who never managed to find a reusable menstrual cup that stayed in place without a battle, I’m so glad to have this! Years ago I used Instead (a disposable softcup with the same shape/function) and I’m finding the operation of this to be really similar, only it’s much more comfortable because of the silcone. And if you’re wondering if you can REALLY have sex with it in— yes, you really can! (You could with Instead as well, but the crinkly plastic material of it was a bit of a mood-killer.)I always had leaks with menstrual cups and had to wear a backup liner, but so far I have only had leaks when I go to the bathroom or, once when I hadn’t completely secured the disc. If it’s in place it works flawlessly and is well worth the price. My only wish (which was the same for my clear divacup), is that it came in another colour. I am a pink hater, sorry. Why not black? Or red would be metal as hell!
