Nice baby or pet monitor
This baby monitor camera is nice to have for monitoring your baby, or your house and pets when you are not at home. It provides a clear picture and the PTZ function of the camera works well with it being able to spin almost 360 degrees. It can also tilt up and down and has a movement-following feature. I had no issues getting the camera up and running and the app seems to be good quality. I know some of the cameras that I have gotten have an app that is buggy or does not work well, and this app has many features. It is intuitive and works well. It has a privacy mode where the camera turns off and tilts all the way upward so that the lens is inside of the housing so that you know it is not able to record any video which is a nice feature for privacy-minded people. It also is able to play soothing music from within the app, and has a nightlight on it. There is no battery on this unit and it needs to be plugged in to work. It also will only connect to 2.4G WiFi and not 5G compatible. One quirk that I have noticed is that the camera stays pretty warm to the touch even when in sleep mode and supposedly off which concerns me a bit. It doesn’t smell like anything is burning, and is not overly hot, but I feel like it shouldn’t get that warm in sleep mode. I let it sit overnight just to make sure and it was still warm the next morning. My guess is that the silicone cat ear cover may hinder heat dissipation somewhat, and could possibly be removed if you wanted to take it off. This will need to have a microSD card that is not included in the box unless you plan to purchase cloud storage. Overall, I think this is a solid unit, with lots of features, a clear picture, and a good value for the money.

Feature-Rich Baby Monitor That Offers Peace of Mind
I got this baby monitor for my kid’s friend, and it has been a great setup for keeping an eye on their little one. The camera quality is very clear, and the 360° pan and tilt makes it easy to see the whole room. The night vision works well, and the gentle light option is nice for nighttime checks without fully waking the baby. The AI alerts for crying and feeding are especially helpful and give extra peace of mind. The two-way audio is clear, and the built-in lullabies are a nice bonus for soothing the baby remotely. Overall, it feels like more than just a basic baby monitor and works well as an all-in-one solution. That said, with all the features, there can be a bit of a learning curve during setup. Once everything is configured, it runs smoothly, but it may take some time to explore all the settings.Pros:• Clear camera quality with wide room coverage• Smooth pan and tilt control• Useful AI alerts for crying and feeding• Night vision and gentle light are very practical• Two-way audio and lullabies are a nice bonusCons:• Setup and settings can take time to learn• Feature-heavy for those wanting something very basicSuggestions for improvement:A quick-start guide or setup walkthrough would be helpful for new users. Adding customizable alert sensitivity presets could also make setup easier.Overall, this is a solid and thoughtful baby monitor with lots of helpful features, and it makes a great gift for new parents who want extra reassurance.

Great Features, But Connectivity Holds It Back
I recently bought this baby monitor to use at my home whenever my grandson comes over. This Outinput Baby Monitor has several strong features—clear 2K video, smooth 360° panning, reliable night vision, and helpful alerts—but the connectivity limitations definitely affected my overall experience. The camera only works on a 2.4 GHz network, and it would not connect at all on my simplified combined network that broadcasts both 5G and 2.4 GHz under one SSID. Even after troubleshooting and resetting, it refused to pair unless I separated the bands, which isn’t ideal for a modern home setup.Once connected, the camera performs well: the picture quality is sharp, the audio is clear, and the app features (like crying alerts and two‑way talk) work as expected. But the fact that it cannot connect to a dual‑band network without manually splitting it is a real drawback—especially when many newer devices handle this seamlessly. So, if your router allows easy band separation or you already run a dedicated 2.4 GHz network, you’ll likely enjoy the camera’s features. But if you rely on a unified 5G/2.4 GHz network, be prepared for connection challenges. Because of that, I can’t wholeheartedly give it more than 4 stars. I’m not able to use it the way I want since my home runs on a simplified combined network, and most of my devices are already connected that way. I’ll be looking for an alternative that works better with my setup.

Camera Monitor
I love this baby monitoring camera by Outinput because of how easy it is for me to install it and use it everyday when I am needing to monitor my ten month old while napping. I found that this camera has a night mode that turns the cameras light on that’s built in at the base of the camera to help you see at night. The light is only activated when using the app to do so, once it is activated the light will turn on when the camera senses movement in the room of any kind including the baby crying. The camera picture quality is clear with real time monitoring on your phone, please note that the camera will only work when linked to WIFI but the feed is able to be used when not at home. It has a 360 rotation head that allows you to move the camera to view the entire room. The features that you are able to use within the app is my favorite because it is able to detect your baby crying, movement in the room, detect the temperature in the room, meal reminders, night light, while also being able to store videos or screenshots you take when using the app on your phone. This makes a great gift for someone who is expecting little one or someone who is just looking for a good camera to watch their children or their pets. This Baby monitor is worth its value while also being very easy to install and connect to your WIFI.

It is something we tend to take for granted nowadays, the ability to use cameras such as this to monitor houses when we are out, internally or externally, or pets and children, even older relatives to check they are safe.We already have several Outinput smart baby cameras in use here. Each is being used to monitor our pets and so we already have the app downloaded on our phones so it was easy to add this camera the BM400 to the app. It took a couple of goes that did surprise me but eventually by resetting the camera a couple of times it hooked up OK.The picture seems fine, I note there is a light on the body of the camera in some photos. I have not yet discovered this on this particular camera but I may be looking in the wrong place in the app. The picture is important here as one of the Outinput cameras we have here is unable to monitor at night using infrared, the picture is pixalated and almost unviewable. The other in use has a good picture at night. This one is going to replace our faulty one.The base of the camera can be attached to a extension arm that clips to a crib or pillar, there is a screw thread underneath and screws are included for attaching direct to the wall if needed. We usually add a micro sd card to the cameras and monitor when the camera notifies us something is happening. This works well. We set the cameras to track and follow any movement which also works nicely.Price seems about right for a camera like this that can track as well as these do.

Quality is excellent, offering a clear and sharp picture that makes keeping an eye on little ones much easier. Night vision works really well, and motion or cry alerts are reassuring without being overwhelming. Pan and tilt features are smooth and cover the whole room, while two-way talk lets communication feel natural. Lullabies are a lovely touch for settling babies, and app control is intuitive and simple to use on the go.

This is a well made baby monitor / security camera that has some good features, including a great pan/tilt/zoom function, as well as a cute design that won’t look out of place in a child’s bedroom.Picture quality is good, and it’s loaded with useful features for a fantastic price for what you get.I do have a bit of a problem with the app. First up, it’s a copy of the common Smart Life app in many ways, with some screens being exactly the same. But you can’t use the Outinput app, which means you need another username and password, and when you do log in, you’re presented with a screen that has a wall of 25 icons in pale pink on a white background. It’s incredibly difficult to read and to use.Additionally, the proprietary app makes it difficult to integrate this into existing smart home platforms such as Home Assistant. If you just want a stand alone camera / baby monitor, then this is great, but if you want something to be part of your wider smart home, then this probably isn’t it.

I’m very pleased with this product. This camera is exactly what I needed. A small, handy, and versatile camera for monitoring what’s happening in the next room. The camera is easy to set up and use daily. The image quality is excellent. The 2K resolution image is clear and sharp, both day and night, and it also features a light and lullaby function, and 360-degree rotation, so you can keep an eye on every corner of the room. It’s connected and everything works as it should.Above all, since I got this device, I feel safe and don’t have to run back and forth to check what’s happening upstairs. The value for money is excellent. This small camera offers a lot for such a small price.Of course, it could have more advanced features, but it’s a very simple device that even an inexperienced person can handle. I highly recommend it.
