Awesome for travel
I’m very pleased with this Pilates workout set. My understanding is that it’s supposed to be a set for beginners but I’ve been doing Pilates at home for quite some time and it really works for me. Even as an experienced user I find the set very helpful especially for travel. It’s easy to use the included tool to remove the pin from the ball and deflate it and it’s quick to reinflate it with the included pump. The ring and stretchy bands take up almost no space in my luggage so if I’m going to be gone for a little while and don’t want to lose my momentum or get out of the habit of doing my daily workout it’s really best just to throw this very compact and packable kit into my luggage because if I see it I’m very likely to do a mini workout in my hotel room and feel good about myself because I did. I like that it comes with a big poster that includes a ton of exercises that can be done with the equipment. I think the bands are durable and can stretch and awful lot without cracking or snapping. I have owned this set for about 4 months and it is in the same condition as it was when I got it. So, I feel like it’s pretty durable and will last the test of time. This workout set definitely exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it, especially to those who travel.

This set has everything you might want for your at home pilates workout. First, there is a folded chart of workouts divided by upper body, core, lower body, and whole body movements to help simplify your workouts and leave the guessworkout. Next, there is a pilates ring for multiple resistance exercises. There is a bag filled with 4 resistance bands ranging from light to x-heavy to add variety to your workouts. Lastly, there is a stability ball and pump to really help work your core.

Pilates ring was unusable which ruined the set
I wanted to like this Pilates kit because the idea is great and the size of everything else in the set was good. The resistance bands are decent quality and the mini ball actually held my weight during exercises even though I was a little unsure at first. The problem is the Pilates ring, which is supposed to be the main piece of the kit. It arrived badly misshapen and never went back to a normal circle shape no matter what I tried. Because of that it had no real resistance and was completely unusable. The ring feels cheap and flimsy which is disappointing since it is the focus of the set. Overall this is not a good value and I would not purchase it.

Honestly I just bought this kit for the magic circle. But the kit cost less than most magic circles alone so it was a nice bonus to have the bands and ball included. The pump is easy to pump the ball up quickly. The bands are standard fitness bands that are great to take on vacation as they don’t take up bag space and you can use to get a decent workout without a gym. The magic circle is sturdier than some I have seen at big box fitness stores but not quite as nice as the version most pilates studios have but cost a lot more. It is plenty sturdy as a supplement to Pilates mat exercises. The poster with exercise ideas was a nice perk too.
