Rich Oil That Doesn’t Overdo It! A-1 Quality!
Facial oils can be hit or miss, but this one leans toward the pleasant side of the spectrum. It has a richness that feels luxurious without crossing into greasy territory, which is a balance not every oil manages to achieve. The mild scent is gentle enough to enjoy without feeling like you’ve walked into a perfume shop, and the texture spreads beautifully across the skin.As someone who has tried more oils than I’d ever admit publicly, I can say this one made a strong impression right away. My daughter agreed—she’s just as picky as I am when it comes to skincare textures. My original plan was to rotate it into my own lineup, but she had other ideas. She decided it pairs perfectly with a whipped hand cream she uses every night. A few drops mixed in, and suddenly her hands look like she’s preparing for a hand‑modeling audition. She already receives compliments after a fresh manicure, and this oil certainly isn’t hurting her reputation. The price is a bit higher than some of the other oils I’ve used, especially considering the bottle is only one ounce. That said, a little goes a long way. You don’t need to drench your face—or your hands—to get the benefits. Used sparingly, it stretches surprisingly well.On a positive note, as my daughter calls it, this oil has been a pleasant discovery for both of us. The texture, the finish, and the way it absorbs all point to a quality product. Even with the higher cost, we’re glad we had the chance to try it. Whether it becomes a long‑term staple will depend on how long this bottle lasts, but for now, it’s earned our appreciation.😘

Left skin moisturized and not greasy or oily. Really great on face!
Wow – I use a lot of different seed oils, and this by far is one of the best.I’m not a fan of the price point, but not deducting as I have yet to compare to see what the “average” price point is.This is my first purchase and use of Prickly Pear Seed oil.Sure, I use a lot of the more “affordable” oils like: coconut oil, jojoba oil, almond seed oil. After a bad reaction to a “dark spot fading” cream, I used only natural oils for a bit of time until my face healed up. After that, I basically never went back to chemical-based creams, and went to use “natural oils” as the moisturizer. This oil truly has a very moisturizing texture and result. In comparison, when I apply pure Shea Butter oil, it leaves my skin shiny and a bit greasy until it absorbs. I felt that the Prickly Pear created more of a barrier on my skin.I apply seed oils daily to my arms and legs. I leave a small plastic 2 oz bottle (that I refill and even blend with different oils) right in my shower stall. Once I towel dry, I liberally apply oil to damp skin. (any oil drops land on shower floor, and the oil splatter marks on my sheetrock wall next to my sink show me that oil can fling off my hand palm when slathering on my shoulder and arms)I will dedicate the prickly pear seed oil just to my face.I loved that the outside wrapper showed the expiration date. It is not marked on the bottle, but on the packaging bubble wrap. So once you dispose of the packaging material, you will no longer have the expiration date info on the bottle.I’m not worried, as it will get used up fast.My plan is to use weekly. and alternate with other facial oils.Or use after exposure to sun, wind, or needing some “extra” moisturizing.very happy with the oil.

One of the best facial oils
Prickly pear seed oil is one of the best anti-aging skin oils you can use. It is rich in antioxidants and essential fatty acids, omega-6 and -9 and vitamin E. It’s high in linoleic acid which can help fight acne and reduce sebum. It helps boost collagen levels in the skin for aging skin. I use several different natural oils on my face but I can say with confidence that prickly pear seed oil is my favorite for its many benefits for aging skin and fighting breakouts (while my skin is in the low to mid 40’s age range I still fight the occasional breakout so it’s of great importance to me to not use anything that might clog my pores or cause breakouts.) This Kisii oil is organic and cold-pressed for maximum retention of the “good stuff” and the price is reasonable at $32 for a bottle. I’ve literally seen a bottle of prickly pear seed organic oil in a different brand (same size as this) go for $150 which I think is too much when you can get a bottle for this price. It has a light vegetal scent and a golden hue. You only need a few drops, rub your palms together and press it into your skin (best if you don’t rub your skin too much to avoid wrinkles). A little goes a long way and it will absorb and work with your skincare to add those nutrients and protective oil to help retain your glow. You can also, add a few drops into your lotion to boost your skincare for the rest of your body. I either add a few drops in my hand with my lotion and mix them together or pour some in my lotion if you are able to mix it by shaking or with a spatula.

Worth trying
While the “liquid gold” nickname usually signals hype, this oil truly earns it. It is exceptionally versatile for hair, skin, and nails, offering a “dry oil” finish that absorbs instantly without the greasy residue common in cheaper alternatives or different carrier oils. It is definitely lightweight. I can even apply it to my roots on second-day hair to tame frizz, and it leaves everything looking hydrated and healthy rather than unwashed.Skin benefits are definitely present. It doesn’t show greasy there either, just moisturized with a hint of glow, but again not shine from overly oily application. No scent or added perfumes if you have to be cautious of such things. The main drawback is the premium price point for such a small bottle. While it is significantly more expensive than other botanical oils, it may be a worthwhile investment because a smaller amount goes a long way. You are paying for a high-performance concentrate that delivers immediate results and promising long-term benefits.*The frosted glass bottle is cute! Very reminiscent of a little potion from an apothecary or something. Just a nice added bonus.
