I got these for my office; I was seeking something that would cut the late afternoon sun and also help with sound dampening. These curtains do both. They cut the sun, and they’ve helped with the echo in my hard-floored office. What I really love is the fabric. Most blackout curtains have a stiff, waxy-like feel to them. These are soft and velvety, giving my office an upgraded and polished look. I chose the sage color, and it is the exact color of a sage leaf. I love it! I measured the curtains after I hung them and they are a true 84″ length (I prefer longer curtains because I hang my curtain rods high, but this was the only option). They are also a nice weight – enough to give it a quality look, but not so heavy that you need a heavy-duty curtain rod. There are less expensive blackout curtains out there, but the upgraded fabric makes these worth spending a little extra.
