Product description

Welcome to Venus Cup! We hope that the Venus Cup will give you the freedom to follow whichever path your life takes and do whatever your heart desires, month after month, without period worries!
Why Venus Cup? The Venus Cup is an affordable, reusable menstrual management alternative that collects rather than absorbs. Our goal was to create a high-capacity menstrual cup that isn’t too long or too wide. It’s easy to remove, has a sturdy stem, and features a sleek design — great for those who experience chafing.
The Venus Cup can be used safely for up to 12 hours (depending on your flow), during almost any activity… including sleeping! Since it collects your flow instead of absorbing it, it helps maintain your vagina’s natural environment.
When used correctly, it cannot be felt internally or detected externally. It’s extremely safe — designed in the USA and manufactured in the PRC at an FDA-registered facility. The Venus Cup is made from biocompatible, medical-grade silicone and contains no harmful chemicals, BPAs, phthalates, dioxins, or toxins. It is also latex-free.

Designed in the USA
Designed in the USA – Manufactured in the PRC The Venus Cup is designed in the USA and manufactured in the PRC at an FDA-registered facility. Each cup is carefully inspected before being sealed, packaged, and shipped. We spared no expense in partnering with a reputable manufacturer to ensure the highest quality standards for our product.

100% Medical Grade Silicone
Quality Assured –
The Venus Cup team has met and continues to comply with all of the quality standards set by the FDA. The Venus Cup, as well as the facility that manufactures them, are both registered with the FDA (3003270419) and has an ISO quality management certificate. Our cups are made of medical grade silicone and do not contain BPA, Latex, Phthalates, or Toxins. The Venus Cup is also hypoallergenic.

Measurements
Don’t Let the Sizes Fool You! -The small and large Venus Cups were designed to have a higher capacity without adding an extreme length or width compared to other cups.
The small Venus Cup measures 71mm at total length, 47mm without the stem, has a 42mm diameter and holds 29ml to the rim – approximately 10% more than the average small-sized cup and is equal to about 6 regular absorbency tampons.
The large Venus Cup measures 71mm at total length, 56mm without the stem, has a 47mm diameter and holds 47ml to the rim – approximately 30% more than the average large-sized cup and is equal to about 9 regular absorbency tampons.

Starter Kit – For 24/7 Protection
For those who may be unsure of the position of their cervix or those who want to try both sizes, the Venus Cup Starter Kit is the way to go.
The small Venus Cup is narrow and short but has a long, sturdy stem just in case you find that you have a medium to a high cervix. You may also prefer this size for a lighter flow.
The large has a longer body but a shorter stem and may be a great option for those with a heavy flow – providing your cervical height permits.
If they both feel comfortable, you’ll have a spare on hand!

Thin Rim
A Rim for Comfort & Ease –
Venus Cups actually have two rims – the upper rim and an invisible secondary rim. The upper rim is narrow and allows the user the ability to fold the cup into a smaller insertion point. The smooth transition and small lip help to create a good seal when properly placed.
The secondary rim is a slight thickening of silicone just below the upper rim.
Since firmness is often lost with an increase of size, an inner ring has been added to the large for extra reinforcement.

Air holes
Not too Big, Not too Small –
We felt that getting the air holes just right would be a huge benefit. We chose a medium-sized hole to allow airflow to rush into the cup while it’s opening. It also aids in removal in which it allows the user to pinch the base of the cup and release the slight suction if one is created.
The four medium-sized air holes are set slightly below the upper rim to ensure that they have good contact with the vaginal wall to eliminate leaking.

Stem
Solid & Sturdy –
The stem is a solid piece of silicone which consists of ‘cones’ and a ball tip end. The cones are rounded off to prevent chafing and the ball end prevents your fingers from sliding off.
With the stems intact, the small & large Venus Cups are the same length.
If the user doesn’t need the extra length or is comfortable retrieving the cup without a stem, the ‘cones’ can be trimmed. An extra bead of silicone inside of the cup has been added for reinforcement as well as a safety measure if the stem is completely removed.

Grip Rings
Beautiful & Functional –
The beautiful design at the base of the cup isn’t just for looks! They are our version of grip rings. We wanted to be sure that the user had good contact between their fingertips and the base of the cup. So no matter if you’re pinching the base to rotate the cup to the side, using a single finger to push it up into place, or holding it to remove the cup, your fingers will always have a secure hold.

Body design
Designed to Hold More –
The base of the Venus Cup is rounded like a bell, but the rim doesn’t flare out as a majority of the bell-shaped cups do. Having a rounded base provides extra capacity and eliminates the point of a “V” shaped cup that some may find pokey or uncomfortable. Because the Venus Cup lacks a flared rim, it may not ride up as high to allow the cervix to sit deep inside of the cup and compromise much of the capacity. These features add more capacity to both the small and large Venus Cups compared to other average cups on the market.

Internal markings
Keeping it “Low-Profile” – We’re proud of our design and we wanted to include our name on it. But of course, we didn’t want it to interfere with the users’ comfort. We kept all of the markings on the inside of the cup to minimize raised areas that could potentially cause chafing. We also wanted to make sure that it wasn’t a hard task to clean. Therefore, the Venus name, size indications, and measuring lines and numbers have rounded edges which should only require a quick rinse.

Easier insertion
Choosing the Right Firmness –
Choosing the right durometer or “firmness” was a delicate process in the making of the Venus Cup. We wanted the cup to be pliable yet with enough firmness that was easy to fold and still easy to open. After several sample cups were sent out in different durometers, we felt that we chose the one that would suit most users with ease.

Easier Removal
Pain-free Removal –
Again, making sure that the firmness was suitable for most users, allows this cup to be pinched at the base to help release the slight seal it may have created. The air holes, which are medium-sized, were also chosen specifically to aid in this release. Both features were carefully thought out to make the Venus Cup not only easy to insert but also easy to remove without pain or discomfort.
The sturdy and long stem will allow someone with a high cervix to locate and reach the cup without worry.

What’s inside the box
Everything Needed for a Happy Period!

User manual
Book of Knowledge –
The Venus Cup user manual is full of helpful information and illustrations. From preparing the Venus Cup for the first use to inserting, removing, troubleshooting, and more. We have included some frequently asked questions and common issues that many new users face. Read through it to familiarize yourself with the cup and the process whether you’re a beginner to using menstrual cups or a long time user.
Save the manual if you wish or visit us our website to see the most up to date version.

Sleeping
Good Night’s Rest –
Depending on how light or heavy a person’s menstrual flow is, the Venus Cup can be safely worn for up to 12 hours. This may be one of the most appealing features to people who either use a menstrual cup or are thinking about making the switch. It may allow users an uninterrupted night’s rest without the worry of stained bedding, waking up in wetness, or needing to change a menstrual product in the middle of the night.

Change your period experience
Happy Vagina & Happy Period –
The Venus Cup will not interfere with the body’s natural process, delicate pH balance, or good bacteria. It will not cause irritation, dryness, micro-tears, or leave behind any fibers. Because a menstrual cup collects a higher capacity than a tampon absorbs, it can be worn for a longer period of time – which means, more time living and less time worrying about your period. When placed correctly, the Venus Cup cannot be seen or felt and can be used during any activity whether it’s school, work, sports, hobby, playing with the family, or just lounging around.

The Best Cup I’ve Tried for Heavy Days
I have been using this product since May 2021. I never write product reviews, but to be honest, this product has been so good for me that I felt I should. I have tried other brands of menstrual cups, and the larger ones seem to be either too soft or not big enough. The large size is perfect for my heaviest day. I used to go through a super tampon about every 1-2 hours, and even with 25-27ml cup, I would have to get up once or twice at night to change it. With the large Venus cup (max of 47ml), I have had no problems sleeping through the night and no big rush to empty it in the morning either. It doesn’t seem to by physically much different than other brands, just wider at the base. I have found that the wider base is helpful because you can sort of feel it getting heavier when it is about half full… so I can 100% relax. I know it isn’t leaking or about to be full to the brim. It is comfortable and only noticeable if I think about it.I don’t worry about going for long walks, getting up in the night, or running lots of errands. On heavy days, I can easily wear it for 6+ hours without a problem. I decided to write this review because I realized that I often forget that I have my period now, even on the heaviest day. It is not a big deal anymore. I don’t know that it is life-changing, but it is definitely life-improving.The learning curve for me was incredibly short. I figured out that a z-fold works best on the large cup on my second insertion and have had no further issues. It is much firmer than other high capacity cups… It is so quick and easy to put in that I use it for the entire cycle and don’t bother with the small one.I believe it comes with a pamphlet on different ways to fold it, for people new to cups. I’ve found that a z-fold, gentle tug out, and then push back in gets it set perfectly. As for removal, the width of the base makes it easy to grab, which breaks the seal with no problem. For those who have used cups before, you won’t have any issues with insertion and removal. That’s it. I’m a fan, and I don’t think I’ll be investing in any other styles or sizes until Venus inevitably tweaks their design and ruins it. Companies love doing that.

My favorite cup!
During my first attempt to use menstrual cups about three months ago I tried Lena cup, Lily cup and this one – This stood out immediately among the three. Now after two cycles, growing pretty familiar and comfortable with using cups, I can confirm that this one is by far my favorite (and the best one is surprisingly the cheapest!).I have medium/high cervix and medium flow. This cup is easy to insert and remove (I had to switch from punchdown fold to C-fold when inserting it though because of the slightly fatter base compared to the other two brands). I find this one is the easiest to break suction because of the straight air holes, which are less likely to be clogged by blood. It’s soft and comfortable; it stays in place and I don’t feel it. Also I like it that it has slightly increased capacity without increasing size too much. I haven’t given birth to a baby before so I find large cups hard to use but wish that small cups of other brands can hold just a little bit more. I found this cup’s size and capacity just perfect for my flow. I wear it 12hr straight without problem. Most importantly it doesn’t leak at all!! Neither of the other two brands can achieve this for me. I can literally forget about it even during my heaviest days (and nights). No need to rush to the toilet first thing waking up anymore!!

Finally….My Goldilocks Cups!
I LOOOOOVVVVVEEEE these cups! I waited before I did my review. I have used these cups for 3 months now and love them!…So Yes!…My Own Godilocks Cups!…At least for me it is!…The right capacity….not too big…not too small…not to too long…and it opens!…EASILY!…I mostly use the larger cup because I need a larger capacity due to my heavy flow! On my heaviest days which is day 2,3 and sometimes 4, of my 5 day period, I need a very large capacity cup! I can fill a cup about every 2 to 3 hours on my heaviest days…on other cups I’ve tried like the Eva Cup, Diva Cup, and Femmy Cup. I tried the Super Jenny and the capacity was very good, but I had a hard time with opening the rim and would experience leaks…a lot…mostly on my heaviest days!.. UGH!…Actually!…All the other cups I’ve tried that I mentioned above…I would have the same issue…fighting with the rim to open properly!….The Venus Cup…for me and my body…is the best underrated, affordable cup going around! It opens easily…it has a ring in the middle to topof the cup to help open properly. The grip rings are not intrusive. I have to cut all stems on my cups…so I can’t review that. The smaller cup…I didn’t even think I was going to use…at all..BUT…I notice that on my really light days sometimes my cervix moves lower and the larger cup is a little uncomfortable…so I find myself using both to my suprise!…I love the packaging…and It comes with not 1…but 2 bags to place your cups in!…I also comes with very detailed instructions for everthing from insertion…to storage…to cleaning properly!…All in a colorful booklet…with diagrams to help!…I understand that these cups will not be for every BODY…but I have been using cups for over 5 years and happen to have a medium length cervix that sometimes moves low on some days…and was beginning to think that leaking cups was just going to be a thing I had to just deal with….I really hope this helps someone.

It seems like i have a faulty cup as there are no holes in the cup! I cannot tell when it’s popped open.
Desiree Tung –
I bought this as I get heavy periods and can go through the whole night with no spillage! It’s soft and ready to use, highly recommended.

Not happy with the packaging. Product looks very cheap and already used. No value for money.
