Absolutely fantastic product
Best bassinet playard combo we’ve ever owned. We bought this for our fourth child and it is absolutely fantastic. Beats the standard Dream on Me, Graco and other low end. Innovation is fantastic on this one and the shade is a great addition that no one else is doing! Ingenuity knocks it out of the park with this one!

Not a tall playyard
The product looks pretty sturdy and seems easy enough to set up. My main complaint is the dimensions are WAY off. The height listed in the product spec includes the canopy and when a question was asked about this, the response was to restate the same listed dimensions. I have no idea why the height listed in the specifications would include the removable canopy. If you are looking for an extra tall playyard, this is not it.

Great guest room addition
Price at time of review: $159.99Quality: 4/5Value: 4/5So far this has been a useful portable bassinet/crib for our guests. The bassinet/crib was very easy to set up. The instructions were easy to follow. The UPF cover was incredibly difficult to put together and set up. While I think it’s a great addition to any crib, I don’t understand why it wasn’t built to be smaller and attach to the crib base. Since it detaches and is large, it can be used outside as a sun blocker, just like a beach umbrella. It’s interesting how the manufacturers decided on this design.The bassinet and crib mattress is just like any other portable crib mattress. The included sheet is nice so we didn’t have to go out and buy one. The bassinet has mesh around it, which creates a safe and breathable sleeping environment.It’s usable from newborn to toddler. The bassinet feature is great for younger infants and the crib/playpen is great for older infants up to toddler age.It’s easy to fold up and I think it folds up to the size of most other portable cribs. We store it under the guest bed and it only takes a minute to set up.

Huge and heavy
This portable bassinet and sun shade is an amazing concept, though this product is very huge and heavy! The bassinet/play yard is great! Very easy to set up and take down. I like that it has the bassinet for tiny and you can remove that as they grow and need more space. The whole setup fits inside a carry bag for transport, but not an every day sort of transport because it’s folded size takes up a lot of space!The sun shade assembly kicked my be-hind! Originally I couldn’t find directions ANYWHERE, then happened to notice some writing through fabric and sure enough it was instructions tucked into a pocket on the bottom. Thank goodness because those were very needed for the sun shade!The sunshade goes together in several pieces but connecting each side while in the fabric causes the plastic connectors to bend and they can easily snap making assembly a “one and done” (ie broken shade/trash). So be careful assembling and I recommend to keep it somewhere that it can be used without needing to move it around a lot or disassemble. It’s also a great size shade too, as you can see with my 2 & 5 yr olds inside it.Great, amazing concept overall!!! Just wish the shade had better quality rods.

Playard and bassinet with a cover.
This is a two in one design, working both as a large bassinet as well as a playard. The best feature is the cover. There are a lot of playards out there, but not many that have a bassinette cover like this one that goes over the whole playard. The set itself is a very minimalist style, not covered in toys or anything like that. It’s a very calming setup. Perfect for travel and a place for little ones to sleep while on the go.
The Final Test –
Truly Terrible Canopy
The bassinet/playard portion is pretty novel I the way it sets up and folds. It can fold flat with the mattress in place in both modes (but not fold in half with mattress in place). This can be useful if you’re setting up and taking down the bassinet/playard a lot.The canopy is truly awful. Upon assembly, all middle joints break immediately. This is due to the pin being used inside the plastic connector not being full length. There are 3 of these, they are important and they ALL broke immediately on installation, rendering the canopy as a one time use item at best. Extremely disappointing.

great as playpen
This makes a great playpen.The oval shape fits nicely in our rooms and there are no edges on which to fall.Our grandson is too old to use as a bassinet but I feel it would also work well with that function. We most wanted this for the sunshade so it would protect him in our screened yard or at the beach. My very handy husband about had a meltdown assembling that part even with my help.After we finally DID wrestle it together we still felt it could not safely stay attached. It would have to be totally disassembled to store also because at least ours won’t fold down flat.The concept is excellent but the execution of the design is a disaster. Maybe we just received a defective one but it was both frustrating and disappointing
