CONTRADICTORY INSTRUCTIONS- I WOULD SUGGEST – TAKE WITH FOOD
Reading up on the best way take this product, “For best results take on an empty stomach, in between meals”. If you are like me, zinc on an empty stomach results in projectile vomiting until the contents of the stomach is empty. Optimistically, I tried the empty stomach method first (as advised.. on the website). I felt fine for the first hour, then after that, no amount of contents would remain in my stomach resulting in numerous visits to the porcelain goddess until contents were fully eradicated, (including nausea and a bit of a dizzy spell equivalent to the Scrambler carnival ride)Ugh.. rough start. If you look on other websites, instructions state you should “take with a meal”. So, be discretional and hopefully, you will give it a chance to work it’s magic. (I am still traumatized by zinc, I fear it’s wrath upon my delicate system) I am remaining hopeful it will fix my GERD issue.

Helps heal leaky gut!
I have been suffering from SIBO-C, leaky gut, rosacea and histamine intolerance for several years (although I didn’t realize SIBO was a problem or the root cause of most of my symptoms until about a year and a half ago (after receiving positive results from taking a lactulose breath test). I tried healing the SIBO but it is very difficult to heal and requires a multi pronged approach with treatments that seem to exacerbate my histamine intolerance and rosacea. Itchiness, skin rashes, redness and acne are always a problem as well as bloating and intestinal inflammation. Trying to get an appointment with a SIBO specialist is a year wait so, I took it upon myself to research as much as possible for how to heal this disorder. L glutamine has been helpful but wasn’t enough. After more research, I began taking Zinc Carnosine for leaky gut just 1 day ago and although not perfect, I already feel much better and notice a marked improvement with my bloating. Thus is reported to help heal leaky gut. I am hoping food intolerances, caused by proteins that leak through the intestinal wall, will no longer be contributing to the rosacea and histamine intolerance. After so long dealing with my uncomfortable symptoms, I am so glad for this product and hope it will help heal my gut from the damage that SIBO has caused.
