Comfortable Everyday Shoes
The New Balance 608 V5 is really comfortable and supportive for daily wear. They have great cushioning, feel sturdy, and are perfect for walking or casual activities. The fit is true to size, and they break in quickly. A solid, reliable pair of shoes!

Bought these for my wife and she literally hasn’t taken them off for two weeks
I surprised my wife with the New Balance Women’s 608 V5 in the white/white color (size 8 Medium) because her old walking shoes were falling apart and she’s on her feet all day as a nurse. She opened the box, slipped them on, and immediately said “these feel like clouds.” Two weeks later she’s still wearing them 10–12 hours a day at work and then straight to errands after her shift.Here’s what she (and I) love:Cushioning is insane – the ABZORB heel and forefoot padding plus the thick EVA midsole make standing on hard hospital floors actually bearable. She used to come home with sore arches and lower back pain; now she says it’s night-and-day better.True to size and wide-foot friendly – she normally wears 8M but sometimes needs Wide in other brands. These fit perfectly right out of the box, no break-in pain at all.Support without being stiff – the dual-density collar foam and the internal shank keep her stable during long shifts and quick turns, yet they still flex naturally when she walks the dog.Leather upper looks clean and professional enough for work (white stays surprisingly clean with just a baby wipe), but they’re comfortable enough for weekend jeans too.Lace-up design locks her foot in place so no heel slip, even after 12-hour shifts.Excellent traction – the rubber outsole grips tile, linoleum, and even wet sidewalks without feeling clunky.She’s already told three coworkers to order the exact same pair, and two of them have. I just added a second pair to the cart in grey so she has a backup when these eventually wear out (though they still look brand new).If your wife (or you) spends all day on your feet and needs something supportive that doesn’t look like an orthopedic shoe, these 608 V5s are pure magic. Fits amazingly!!!
True to size fit! Extremely comfortable. The heel is a bit weak/easy to break. However it is holding up well. Just have to be careful with the heel. Overall a great shoe!!!! Will definitely buy from newbalance again.

Great shoes
I love these shoes!!! They were great for lots of walking when we went on vacation. My feet are happy 🙂 The size was perfect. I ordered a 7 wide and it was amazing. No more rubbing on the sides of my feet.

Not an everyday work shoe 😢
My job has me walking a lot and mostly on my feet all day walking on concrete, so I heard these were good shoes to get.When I got them they fit just right, very comfy, but after wearing them to work for just two days my arch in my feet really hurt. I went back to my other tennis shoes because I can’t wear these to work for more than a day. Apparently I have flat feet. But when I’m barefoot it looks to me like I have a high arch??! I even tried inserts but it just made my arches feel worse. So I just use these as my everyday tennis shoes , just not on concrete! 🙈💁If I bought these as an everyday tennis shoe I’d give this pair a 3+ , but since my purchase was for new work shoes and instead ended up having to soak my feet each night, that make this pair a 3- star. Would be good shoes when playing volleyball or basketball. I’ll just use as my everyday shoes now outside of work where I’m not on concrete all day and they work just fine. Just can wear them everyday, all day . I’m old now so sports and running around all the time is no longer on my ( to-do list) .

Great sneakers
I really like these shoes, they are very comfortable and lightweight on my feet. They are made of a nice leather so they are easy to clean and they have a hard rubber bottom so they have a good grip on the floors. The size and length is as described. I bought the pink pair and they are very pretty and stylish. I wear them everything I need to do alot of walking.

The most comfortable shoes I’ve had in a long time. I really struggle to find comfortable sneakers lately. I have size 10 feet that are very flat and I am starting to get plantars fasciitis so I need shoes that will support my arches and keep my ankles straight but that also have enough cushioning to feel comfortable and these shoes are the perfect balance. I got them in all black and while they aren’t as nice looking as more stylish brands the comfort is definitely worth it and they still look very nice imo especially compared to most orthopedic type shoes. I have a fairly narrow size 10 foot and still you wouldn’t believe how often size 10 shoes are too tight across the toes for me leaving me wondering who on earth can fit into them if I can’t but these shoes fit absolutely perfectly. As soon as I put them on my plantars fasciitis felt better which I honestly wasn’t expecting so fast. I felt confident wearing them to a baby shower the day after they arrived without feeling like I needed to break them in first and I was right. I really wish I had bought these sooner, I probably could have avoided a lot of foot pain. I think anyone who spends a lot of time on their feet should be wearing these shoes.
