My teen – a champion rower – is not easy on her workout wear. She has several pairs of these and washes and dries them (we’re not a “hang dry” family), often 2x/week. These have stood up to two very long, arduous crew seasons, as well as off-season workouts, and are still going strong. No signs of wear in elastic or spandex. No stretching or fraying at the hem as with some others. No bunching of discomfort, no matter the WOD. Of all the shorts we’ve bought her, NikePRO are her go-to shorts because they’re so comfortable and lasting. (She was jokingly voted “most likely to be a Nike spokesperson” at the season’s end this past year. 😂) I know… they’re not the least pricy option out there but, in this case, you really do get what you pay for. Faced with the options of having to replace other brands or go with these, the choice became simple. Over time, NikePRO is the more cost-effective of the two. Don’t hesitate.

Great Fit, But the Waistband Doesn’t Hold Up in the Wash
These shorts fit like a dream—snug, supportive, and super flattering. Whether I’m at the gym, doing yoga, or running errands, they stay in place and don’t ride up, which is honestly all I ask for in workout gear.BUT… after just a few washes (cold water, air dry), the waistband started getting weird fuzzy pills all over it. It doesn’t affect the fit, but it definitely makes them look more worn out than they should, especially for the price. A little disappointing from Nike, to be honest.If you don’t mind babying your laundry or just want a great fit for workouts, these are solid. Just be prepared for the waistband to show wear pretty quickly.

Die Lieferung erfolgt in einer Versandtasche aus Papier. Darin lag die Shorts in einer weiteren Kunststofftüte verpackt. Wir haben die Ausführung „Black/White“ gekauft. Beim Auspacken sind uns keine unangenehmen Gerüche aufgefallen.Die Shorts fällt sehr schlicht aus. Sie ist komplett schwarz gehalten. Lediglich das Logo am linken Bein sowie der Schriftzug am Bund sind kontraststark in Weiß abgesetzt.Wir haben die Größe M für unsere Tochter bestellt. Die Shorts passt und sitzt sehr gut. Die Größe fällt unserer Meinung nach erwartungsgemäß aus.Als Material kommen 78 % Polyester und 22 % Elastan zum Einsatz. Der Stoff ist angenehm auf der Haut und sehr dehnbar. Wir haben die Shorts bei 30 Grad gewaschen und anschließend im Schongang im Trockner gehabt. Den ersten Durchlauf hat die Shorts ohne sichtbare Beeinträchtigungen überstanden.Die Verarbeitung ist gut bis sehr gut. Die Nähte sind gerade und frei von Fäden. Die Herstellung erfolgte in Sri Lanka.In Summe eine gut verarbeitete, schlichte Basic-Shorts – perfekt für Sport.
