Quality of sound is 10 out of 10!
A friend recommended this product to me. Certain sounds tend to cause a little anxiety for me but this sound machine is relaxing. As you can adjust the volume/speed and the nightlight built in is handy. I have one in each bedroom and take one on vacations.

Sanity-saving real fan white noise without blown air
I learned about this sound machine with the built-in fan at a baby store and immediately knew I needed one for myself. I highly recommend this model to anyone who prefers the sound of a real fan but doesn’t want to run a fan or doesn’t have one with a satisfying pitch and volume, or folks who can’t stand the artificial, tinny, or obvious looping of digital white noise equivalents. I use it all night to help block out my snoring partner and cats, and now many hours of the day as well that we have a baby sleeping in our room. While it may not have quite as many extra features as some of the brand’s other models, the natural fan sound is best for me and I greatly appreciate the customizability of the pitch and volume. For me, it is absolutely worth the price and helps improve this very light sleeper’s sleep. The night light is very useful too, especially now with a newborn in the room with us. I have a couple “wishes” for this item — that there were smaller steps between volume levels and that the buttons on top had some kind of tactile indication so you could identify them more easily in the dark — but aside from that I am very satisfied with this machine and will happily purchase one again if needed in the future.

Great at its Job
Very good for its purpose and drowns out highway noise. It has multiple speeds and sounds like a soft fan.

Broke after 1 year
Worked great then broke!Sound machine lasted only a year and a half and they do not warranty past a year. It sounds like a train now, tried to troubleshoot and fix on my own and it still has a loud terrible hum to it and is no longer useable.Expensive item to break after such a short time.

Sleep Saver
I love this sound machine. I live n an apartment where you hear noises from neighbors all around you Then on top of that there is an express highway beside the apartment building. You can hear every car whiz by. Some much louder than others.Makes it hard to sleep.I purchased this machine in hopes of better sleeping. I can sleep now. This machine just hums me to sleep, never hearing the noises from outside my apartment. What a blessing!!!

Box fan folks – buy this!
I used a box fan for years and my fiancé hated it. We compromised on this and I wish I would have gotten it 15 years ago. You can adjust the volume and sound, plus it has a little light to use in the middle of the night when you don’t want to go blind. She now requests I turn it on, so seems like the compromise worked.

Well, it was good while it lasted.
We bought one of these about two and a half years ago because it looked like it was nicer than the classic version we bought over 15 years ago.It was, BUT the old one is still working.This one is not after about 2 1/2 years.Almost two decades for $50 vs. less than three years for $65.The slight increase in volume and the night light are not worth it.If you use a timer, perhaps it is to you, but I’d say stick with the analog model.I’m certain the electronics in this are the problem, as it worked intermittently for awhile before it died.

Not as deep of a sound as original dohm.
Have a few of the original dohm sound machines so thought I would upgrade, honestly don’t love it as much. The sound isn’t as deep? It’s like a higher breezy sound. Still fine but if you like the old ones maybe stick to those, especially since they are cheaper.
